We are currently seeking an experienced backend Ruby developer (ideally with some React frontend experience) to join our growing engineering team. The developer will work directly as part of the team responsible for our world renowned Scoop® Project Management and Automation (mPMA) platform for the renewable energy industry.

  • Design, develop and maintain our product using our core technology stack
  • Provide technical guidance and direction to other developers
  • Write unit test using RSpec
  • Participate in all Scrum practices

  • Bachelor's or Masters degree in computer science or software engineering
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience building scalable enterprise software
  • Solid understanding of modern web technologies (especially SASS, CoffeeScript, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL)
  • In depth knowledge of relational databases and SQL and developing REST APIs
  • At least basic familiarity with Amazon Web Services like EC2, RDS, S3
  • Deep passion for product, technology and software
  • Able to demonstrate strong problem solving and critical thinking skills on the fly.
